Vent-Axia To Return Its Brand To The 2010 British Superbike Championship

Vent–Axia has announced that it will return its “Brand” to the 2010 British Superbike Championship, with personal sponsorship to Tommy Hill, who will ride for one of the leading teams in the series, Worx Crescent Suzuki. The “Vent-Axia Brand” will also appear on the bikes and team wear. Vent-Axia were last associated with the Championship in 2007 with the Paul Bird Stobart Honda Team, and have since then, continued its association in the World Superbike Championship with PBM and the Kawasaki Team.

After nine years of waiting, Penrith rally driver Paul Bird finally got his hands on the winner's trophy with a comprehensive start to finish victory in today's Coniston-based Coppermines Grizedale Stages Rally in his native Lake District.

Driving the www.supercasino.com, Vent-Axia and Kick Energy-backed Ford Focus WRC07, Bird and new Scottish co driver Kirsty Riddick won all six stages to emerge victorious by a minute and forty-seven seconds ahead of the Subaru of Alex Allingham.

Chris Vermeulen, one of the few riders to win both MotoGP and World Superbike races, has joined the Kawasaki World Superbike Racing Team for the 2010 season.

Round eleven of the Hannspree World Superbike Championship proved to be one to forget for the Kawasaki Superbike Racing Team as they came away from the Nurburgring in Germany with just three points after a difficult weekend.
