Vent-Axia is celebrating reaching the final shortlist in the prestigious Electrical Industry Awards 2016, which recognises, celebrates and rewards companies leading the way in the UK electrical sector.

Vent-Axia is celebrating 80 years of innovation. Founded by Joe Akester in 1936 when he invented the world’s first electrically-operated window fan Vent-Axia has been a leading British manufacturer ever since. Now a multi-million pound company, the Vent-Axia brand has become a household name featuring annually in the UK Superbrands league table and holding the prestigious Royal Warrant.

Vent-Axia is delighted to announce that its prestigious Royal Warrant has been renewed. Vent-Axia was originally granted the warrant by HM the Queen in 1985 as ‘Suppliers of Unit Ventilation Equipment to the Royal Households’ and has held it ever since. The company is now celebrating having held this high status honour for over 30 years.

Now celebrating 30 years as the UK’s favorite commercial fan, Vent-Axia’s first T-Series fan rolled off the Crawley production lines in 1986.

Vent-Axia is delighted to be supporting Breathe Easy Week 13-19 June 2016, the annual awareness week which focuses on lung health and is run by the British Lung Foundation (BLF). Every year the BLF holds the event which is designed to highlight the widespread effect of lung disease which affects about one in five people in the UK.

Vent-Axia is delighted to have been commended at the Energy Show 2016 Product of the Show Awards in Dublin, Ireland. The company gained recognition in the Best Energy Efficient Product category of the awards for its unique, best in class Sentinel Kinetic Advance Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery unit.
