Vent-Axia has impressed the judges in the ‘Commercial Ventilation Product of the Year’ category at the prestigious HVR (Heating and Ventilating Review) Awards 2016.

Vent-Axia has continued its 80^th anniversary festivities with a staff celebration at its head office, located at Manor Royal in Crawley. At the event staff enjoyed lunch and cake to celebrate Vent-Axia's landmark 80 years and a formal photograph of the staff was taken to mark the occasion. Staff members were each given 80^th Anniversary mementoes and a framed copy of the photograph from the day.

Vent-Axia is delighted to be recognised for its commitment to environmental excellence having achieved the internationally recognised ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification for its Crawley manufacturing facilities.

ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised standard and to achieve certification Vent-Axia demonstrated that it has an environmental management system in place to reduce waste and energy use, improve efficiency and meet all legal and regulatory environmental requirements.

Vent-Axia is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted in the prestigious HVR Awards 2016, which celebrate innovation in the building services sector. The company’s award-winning Sentinel Kinetic Advance is a finalist in the Commercial Ventilation Product of the Year category.

Edna Barnett started work for Vent-Axia when she was 18 and worked there until she retired in 1985 when she was 60. Twenty-eight years after retiring, now 91, Edna returned to Vent-Axia to see how the company had changed.Edna Barnett was born in 1925 in Brighton although she grew up in Fulham in London.
